We are looking for a talented, innovative, and entrepreneurial engineer to help make our tools, environments and processes better. You need to be able to work independently when needed but can thrive in a team environment.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to our team’s core architecture and future product offerings. You will utilize your experience and passion to help deliver an innovative, dynamic solution. You’ll be expected to mentor junior level developers and help create and maintain best practice architecture design.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in a team environment to deliver quality software solutions
  • Lead medium-size projects with firm deadlines
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create project plans
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain internal and external application systems
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot production application issues
  • Share acquired skills/knowledge with peers and mentor junior engineers
  • Document functionality and features for product releases
  • Provide input to senior management on emerging trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 2-5 years of professional software development experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and principles
  • Experience developing and maintaining relational databases
  • Experience with source control and continuous integration/deployment strategies
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with the following technologies:
    • .NET Framework 4.5/C# using Visual Studio 2015
    • SQL Server 2012+ or equivalent
    • Ad-hoc SQL, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and LINQ
    • Web Services and WCF
    • Windows Services
    • WinForms and WPF
    • NET MVC, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and AngularJS
    • DirectX, Unity, or other graphics API development a plus
